TD earnings date and guidance
TD's next results are expected on December 3, 2026. The one thing to watch is whether TD's earnings withstand credit losses and continuing remediation costs.
What has TD guided for the coming year?
Management targets 16% adjusted ROE—return on equity, or profit against shareholders’ money—and 7–10% adjusted EPS growth by fiscal 2029. It targets a 40–50% dividend payout range.
Credit costs ease, but do not return to pandemic-era lows. Management’s FY2026 PCL guidance is 40–50 basis points. Impaired loans fell from C$5,594M to C$5,143M, while quarterly provisions fell to C$917M. The base steps down from 0.48% to 0.40%; the bear peaks at 0.72%; the bull reaches 0.34%. The bear remains credible because write-offs were still above the prior year and household borrowers face mortgage-payment increases.

Did TD keep its repurchase promise?
Chun promised approximately C$8 billion in repurchases, and TD announced completion of that program on January 16, 2026. Management kept that capital-return promise. Its harder promise is lasting control repair, which must survive outside scrutiny. TD is therefore partly on shareholders’ side in its ownership exposure and returned capital, but the board must still prove that pay and oversight match the risks left by the AML failures.
What is TD's revenue and profit trend?
Net interest income rose in every quarter from January 2025 through July 2026. Reported profit was less smooth because the Schwab sale and restructuring charges moved through earnings. July’s reported income growth of 38.3% therefore exceeded adjusted growth of about 21%.
