OXY earnings: November 9, 2026
OXY's next results are expected on November 9, 2026. Watch final production and Gulf sales volumes, including what was restored after the pipeline constraint.
What has OXY guided for 2026?
Management’s 2026 promise is to keep production inside a tighter range while spending carefully and reducing costs. Its August outlook set the annual production and net capital-spending ranges shown below.
| Period guided | Low | High | Date given | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Total Company Production (Mboed) — FY26 | Year to Dec 2026 | 1,423.00 | 1,453.00 | Aug 6, 2026 |
| Permian Production (Mboed) — FY26 | Year to Dec 2026 | 801.00 | 817.00 | Aug 6, 2026 |
| Rockies & Other Production (Mboed) — FY26 | Year to Dec 2026 | 270.00 | 276.00 | Aug 6, 2026 |
| Gulf of America Production (Mboed) — FY26 | Year to Dec 2026 | 132.00 | 136.00 | Aug 6, 2026 |
| International Production (Mboed) — FY26 | Year to Dec 2026 | 220.00 | 224.00 | Aug 6, 2026 |
| Net Capital Expenditures | Year to Dec 2026 | 5,500 | 5,900 | Aug 6, 2026 |
How has OXY's revenue and profit changed over the last eight quarters?
Oxy’s earnings, revenue and diluted EPS rose sharply from March 2026. Management attributed the change primarily to higher realized crude prices, with higher liquids realizations and derivative gains helping, while lower domestic gas realizations partly offset them.
Cash from operations also improved while capital spending remained substantial. That is encouraging, but one quarter cannot establish a new earning rate. The specialist wants to see favorable prices persist, costs remain controlled and production hold up before treating the result as durable.
| Jun 2026 | Mar 2026 | Dec 2025 | Sep 2025 | Jun 2025 | Mar 2025 | Dec 2024 | Sep 2024 | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Revenues and other income | 8,327 | 5,109 | 5,423 | 5,613 | 5,301 | 5,738 | 5,720 | 5,939 |
| Income from continuing operations attributable to Occidental | 2,981 | 222 | 221 | 694 | 328 | 821 | 506 | 893 |
| EPS from continuing operations, diluted | 2.76 | 0.05 | 0.05 | 0.51 | 0.13 | 0.65 | 0.34 | 0.74 |
| Cash from operations | 5,086 | 1,392 | 2,398 | 2,447 | 2,729 | 2,032 | 3,296 | 3,333 |
| Capital spending | 1,589 | 1,554 | 1,528 | 1,512 | 1,705 | 1,682 | 1,481 | 1,502 |
What this means. Occidental’s reported income for its own shareholders is lower than our income from continuing operations because we subtract the profit belonging to other owners of its subsidiaries.
What should you watch in OXY's November 9, 2026 results?
The November results will show whether the Gulf disruption was temporary or has changed OXY’s full-year delivery. Occidental scheduled its third-quarter results for November 9, 2026, followed by a conference call on November 10.
Investors should look for final production and Gulf sales volumes, the amount restored after the pipeline constraint, any change to full-year guidance, and any lasting effect on costs or cash flow. If onshore wells continue to offset offshore weakness, the annual target may survive. If they do not, the cause—pipeline access, maintenance, weather or field decline—will shape next year’s spending.
