How much does Bio-Techne pay per share?

Bio-Techne (TECH) dividend per share: $0.31 paid in Jun 2022, $0.32 in Jun 2026; our forecast: $0.00 in Oct 2029; dividend yield 0.4 %

The bear case uses $0.32 per share at each date because Bio-Techne paid that annual amount consistently through FY2026 and generated strong free cash flow. The Wilson Wolf obligation remains a reason not to treat that continuation as certain.

Is Bio-Techne’s dividend covered by its cash?

Fiscal 2026 restored some financial room. Free cash flow reached $263.223 million, while shareholder payments fell to $91.591 million. Cash and short-term investments ended at $264.712 million against total debt of $200.000 million, producing $64.712 million of net cash. But the credit facility matures on August 31, 2027, before the Wilson Wolf purchase deadline. The earlier buybacks therefore matter because they used capacity that could have helped fund or refinance that obligation.

From the full memo · 1. The business

Bio-Techne sells the materials, instruments and quality systems that let scientists study biology, develop therapies and verify medical tests. A dollar comes in when a laboratory, manufacturer or clinical-testing business buys one of those products, and goes out through production, people, research, facilities and delivery before any remainder becomes operating profit.
