About MyStockButler

MyStockButler writes long, source-checked research reports on single public companies: eight chapters per company, from the business to three price scenarios, with every number linked to the document it comes from. The reports are AI-generated research for informational purposes only, not investment advice.

What a report contains

A report follows the order an analyst works in: the company first, the price last.

  1. The business. What it sells, to whom, and how it makes money.
  2. Its market. Is the market growing or shrinking? Who are the competitors, and what protects the company from them?
  3. History and capital decisions. Where the company comes from, what it bought, and where the money went: investment, dividends, buybacks, paying down debt.
  4. Management and ownership. Who runs the company, who sits on the board, who owns the shares, and how the executives are paid.
  5. The numbers. Revenue, earnings, cash flow and debt over five years, not one quarter.
  6. Valuation. What you pay today for each dollar of earnings or cash, against the past and against rivals.
  7. What comes next. What management has announced for the coming years, and whether the company can pay for it.
  8. Where the share price could go. Three scenarios, bear, base and bull, and what would move the company from one to another.

Three questions come back in every chapter: does management keep its promises (what it announced against what it delivered), are insiders buying or selling, and is the dividend paid from cash.

How the numbers are checked

The numbers come from the documents the company publishes: annual reports, quarterly results, and filings with the SEC or other regulators. Every number in a report is linked to the document it comes from, so you can check it. The reports in the library are kept up to date as companies report.

Which companies

The library holds full reports on the companies of six indexes: the S&P 500, the S&P/TSX 60, the FTSE 100, the Hang Seng, the DAX and the CAC 40. You can order a report on any other listed company. Every report can also be read in French, German or Chinese; the numbers stay those of the company's documents.

What it costs
