Honeywell Aerospace earnings date and guidance
The next Honeywell Aerospace results are expected on October 28, 2026. Watch whether supplier recovery turns demand into higher-margin shipments and cash.
What has Honeywell Aerospace guided for 2026?
In August 2026, Honeywell cut its outlook after mechanical suppliers failed to ramp quickly enough. Its guidance calls for organic growth of 4.0%–5.0%, pro forma standalone adjusted EBIT of US$4,350–4,450 million and second-half free cash flow of US$1,000–1,500 million. Organic growth means sales growth from the existing business; EBIT is operating profit before interest and taxes; free cash flow is cash left after operations and equipment purchases.
HONA can reach $207.06 by October 2029 if supplier recovery, aftermarket growth and cash generation improve, but the path first runs through a weaker near-term return. Management promises 4–5% organic growth, $4,350–$4,450 million of pro forma standalone adjusted EBIT and $7.60–$7.90 adjusted EPS for FY2026. It also expects $1,000–$1,500 million of free cash flow in H2 2026 and targets 6–8% annual organic growth through 2030.
| Period guided | Low | High | Date given | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Organic growth | FY2026 | 4.0% | 5.0% | Aug 5, 2026 |
| Pro forma standalone adjusted EBIT | FY2026 | 4,350 | 4,450 | Aug 5, 2026 |
| Year-over-year growth | FY2026 | 0.0% | 3.0% | Aug 5, 2026 |
| Pro forma standalone adjusted earnings per share | FY2026 | 7.60 | 7.90 | Aug 5, 2026 |
| Second half free cash flow | Second half 2026 | 1,000 | 1,500 | Aug 5, 2026 |
What this means. The second-half free cash flow range excludes cash paid to settle the Flexjet matter, so it may be higher than the cash the company actually keeps.
Did Honeywell Aerospace keep its past promises?
The legacy record offers some evidence of performance-based pay. Currier’s 2025 annual incentive payout was 125% of target under the former Honeywell plan, which combined financial results with individual and corporate-responsibility assessments. His August 2026 bridge award completed the remaining part of his annual long-term incentive target rather than exceeding it.
What happened to Honeywell Aerospace revenue and profit in the last eight quarters?
Revenue increased from Q2 2025 to Q2 2026, but gross margin, operating income and net income fell. The company said suppliers were still limiting output, so it directed scarce inventory toward lower-margin commercial OE and domestic defense rather than higher-margin aftermarket and international defense.
| Jun 2026 | Mar 2026 | Dec 2025 | Sep 2025 | Jun 2025 | Mar 2025 | Dec 2024 | Sep 2024 | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Revenue | 4,522 | 4,352 | 4,508 | 4,533 | 4,289 | 4,074 | 4,027 | 3,876 |
| Gross margin | 35.0% | 37.5% | 29.3% | 36.6% | 36.5% | 37.4% | 31.4% | 36.0% |
| Operating income | 676 | 879 | 681 | 1,030 | 1,014 | 991 | 721 | 894 |
| Net income | 246 | 634 | 422 | 644 | 844 | 777 | 564 | 728 |
| EPS, diluted | 0.78 | 2.66 | ||||||
| = Free cash flow | 448 | -362 | 615 | 176 |
What this means. Blank cash flow and spending cells mean comparable business-specific numbers were unavailable, not that the company had no cash flow or spending.
What should I watch in Honeywell Aerospace's next results?
The real disagreement concerns timing. Honeywell says demand and backlog remain strong and that delayed production can be recovered. Analysts are allowing for the possibility that supplier problems defer sales for longer. The useful test is therefore not only an EPS beat, but stronger shipments without weaker margins or another cut to the outlook.
