Cisco earnings date and guidance
MyStockButler's October 2026 analysis: Cisco's next results are expected on November 11, 2026. The key thing to watch is whether AI orders become profitable shipments, cash and durable software growth.
What has Cisco guided for fiscal 2027?
Cisco’s fiscal year ends in July rather than December, so fiscal 2027 covers the twelve months leading up to July 2027. Management’s August guidance calls for revenue of $72.2–$73.4 billion and adjusted earnings of $5.05–$5.11 per share. For the first quarter, it expects revenue of $18.0–$18.2 billion.
The AI target is concrete. Cisco expects $7.5 billion of fiscal 2027 revenue from hyperscalers, the enormous cloud operators building AI infrastructure. It reported $9.3 billion of fiscal 2026 AI orders and about $4 billion of revenue, but those figures describe different stages: an order records a customer’s commitment, while revenue generally follows shipment.

Did Cisco keep its past promises?
Cisco did meet important stated promises. It forecast up to US$60.0 billion of fiscal 2026 revenue and delivered US$63.3 billion. It also returned 94% of free cash flow against a policy minimum of 50%. Free cash flow is the cash left after operating and investment needs; it can be returned through dividends or buybacks. But cash returned is not the same as ownership preserved if stock awards keep issuing claims on the company.
What do Cisco's last eight quarters show?
Revenue reached $17,252 million, up about 17.6% from the year-ago quarter. Growth accelerated through the last four quarters, and product revenue rose 24% while services were flat. Networking grew 28%, ahead of Security, Collaboration and Observability. The pattern confirms that networking remained the main engine.
Reported gross margin improved from 63.2% to 64.1%, partly because the year-ago quarter contained the $355 million supplier charge. Adjusted gross margin fell from 68.4% to 66.3%, although it improved from April. This contrast shows why the reported margin alone cannot establish better underlying economics. Higher sales nevertheless lifted operating income to $4,264 million.
