What has BCE guided for 2026?

BCE’s 2026 plan trades near-term cash for investment intended to create later growth. Management guides revenue growth of 1% to 5%. It guides adjusted EBITDA growth of 0% to 4%.

Management targets capital intensity of 20%, meaning capital spending will consume a large share of revenue. It expects adjusted EPS to fall 5% to 11%. It expects free cash flow to fall 28% to 34%, partly because capital spending rises by C$1.3 billion over 2025.

What this means. The negative growth ranges mean the company expects adjusted earnings per share and free cash flow to fall in 2026.

Did BCE meet its 2025 guidance?

The first test of that experience is whether BCE can grow while producing enough cash to invest and reduce debt. Free cash flow means the cash left after running the business and investing in its networks. In 2025, BCE reported C$6.993 billion of operating cash flow and C$3.178 billion of free cash flow. Its 2025 guidance forecast roughly C$3.1 billion of free cash flow, so hitting guidance means the result met management’s forecast, not that every part of the business improved.

What has BCE’s revenue and profit done over the last eight quarters?

Ziply Fiber changed the latest comparison. It joined BCE on August 1, 2025, so consolidated growth includes a new U.S. fibre business. In Q2 2026, revenue rose 1.5% overall, but fell 2.4% excluding Ziply and fell 4.0% in Bell CTS Canada. BCE also changed its accounting for the Montréal Canadiens investment and removed subscriber groups tied to discontinued services. Growth therefore depends on what BCE includes, not only on what customers do.

What this means. The very large profit in September 2025 came mainly from selling an investment, so it does not show what the business normally earns.

What should I watch in BCE’s next results?

The November 2026 quarterly results should show whether full-year cash-flow guidance survives the construction ramp. The first Saskatchewan data hall will then test whether the AI strategy produces real revenue.
