China Mobile stock forecast
The probability-weighted forecast points to HKD79.44 in October 2027 and HKD79.18 in October 2029. It hinges on cash conversion from computing investment and the durability of the dividend.
Where could China Mobile’s shares be by 2029?
The forecast points to a nearly flat share price but a positive total return, because dividends do much of the work. The probability-weighted price is HKD79.44 in October 2027, HKD79.20 in October 2028 and HKD79.18 in October 2029, versus HKD79.95 today. Including dividends, those returns are 6%, 13% and 20%.

What has to go right or wrong for China Mobile?
The base multiple stays at 3.5x. That fits a mature telecom operator whose recurring scale and net cash support the valuation, but whose falling mobile monetization limits a major re-rating. The bear case combines weaker EBITDA with a falling multiple; the bull case combines better operating performance with a higher multiple.
EBITDA is the main operating driver. The base case starts with 2025 EBITDA of CNY338,931 million and holds it broadly flat in 2027. It then grows 1.5% annually to CNY344,015 million and CNY349,175 million. The restraint reflects falling communications income, while computing-services revenue grew 14.0% in the first half of 2026 and intelligent-computing utilization exceeded 90%. The bear case applies a 3% annual decline, ending at CNY309,332 million; the bull case starts with 2% growth and then uses 4% annual growth, reaching CNY373,920 million.

How much cash does China Mobile really make?
Free cash flow means cash remaining after investment, but the definition matters. Deducting capital spending, lease payments and interest from 2025 operating cash flow leaves RMB41,421 million. China Mobile’s own measure was RMB82,041 million because it uses a different investment definition and does not separately deduct those payments.
