What has T-Mobile guided for 2026 and 2027?

Management expects 950,000–1,050,000 net account additions in 2026 and ARPA growth of 2.5%–3.0%. Its 2026 plan pairs that customer growth with service revenue of US$77,000 million, Core Adjusted EBITDA of US$37,100–37,500 million and adjusted free cash flow of US$18,400–18,800 million after US$10,000 million of cash capital expenditure.

The 2027 plan raises service revenue to US$80,500–81,500 million and assigns US$3,000 million of EBITDA contribution to digitalization and AI, including more self-service through T-Life. But the latest cash-flow increase came mainly from lower cash taxes. Q1 and Q2 produced 494,000 net account additions, leaving 456,000–556,000 for the second half while plan changes were expected to raise churn temporarily.

What this means. The 30,000 million dollars for stockholder returns is the total amount available for dividends and share buybacks through 2027, not an amount expected in one year.

Has T-Mobile kept its past promises?

Promises provide a final performance test. A 2021 plan projected service revenue above US$70 billion by 2026. Revenue reached US$71.3 billion in 2025, though acquisitions affect comparability. The same presentation described potential shareholder returns up to US$60 billion during 2023–2025. Reported cumulative returns were US$45.4 billion through 2025, including activity before 2023.

How have T-Mobile's revenue and profit trended?

The June 2026 quarter showed resilient operations, but not uniformly stronger growth. Revenue reached $22,791 million, up 7.9%, while operating income rose 5.3% to $5,490 million. Net income rose only 0.5%, although diluted EPS increased 5.3% as the share count fell.

What this means. The reported figures include the company's financing business, so they do not show only the results of its main business.

What should T-Mobile watchers look for next?

The next scheduled earnings call is October 28, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. Eastern. Management expected approximately 250,000 net account additions in Q3 despite temporarily higher departures after its rate-plan modernization. The test is whether higher bills lift account revenue without driving away enough households to damage the recurring relationship.
