Schneider Electric stock forecast 2027–2029
MyStockButler's October 2026 analysis: The probability-weighted price reaches €236.40 in October 2027, with 54% assigned to the base case. The outcome hinges on profitable backlog conversion and whether PTC adds earnings and cash after financing and integration costs.
Where could Schneider Electric's shares be by 2029?
The forecast assigns 25% to the bear case, 54% to base and 21% to bull. Full-year 2026 results are scheduled for February 18, 2027. They should show whether shipments became cash and restructuring stayed within expectations. PTC is expected to close by Q3 2027, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals. Financing costs, integration and cross-selling will test the deal.
The probability-weighted price reaches €236.40 in October 2027, a 2% total return including dividends. It rises to €245.96 in October 2028, an 8% return. By October 2029, it reaches €256.28, a 15% return.
| Case | Probability | October 2027 | October 2028 | October 2029 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bear | 25 % | 177.14 (-23 %) | 161.22 (-28 %) | 145.20 (-33 %) |
| Base | 54 % | 238.78 (+3 %) | 243.85 (+7 %) | 250.94 (+13 %) |
| Bull | 21 % | 300.85 (+30 %) | 352.26 (+54 %) | 402.25 (+77 %) |
| Weighted | 100 % | 236.40 (+2 %) | 245.96 (+8 %) | 256.28 (+15 %) |
What this means. The weighted value is a probability-based average of the bear, base, and bull cases, not a promised share price.
What has to go right or wrong for Schneider Electric?
Data-center projects slip, backlog converts slowly and automation remains weak. Margins fall as pricing and costs worsen, while PTC debt, integration costs and dilution restrict EPS and buybacks. The shares reach €177.14 in October 2027 and €145.20 in October 2029. The probability is 25% because backlog is not yet revenue, cash or guaranteed profit, although recent demand and execution history make sustained failure less likely.
Data-center deliveries remain on schedule, automation recovers, pricing and productivity protect margins, and PTC cross-selling generates profitable recurring revenue. Cash generation then supports larger buybacks and a higher multiple. The shares reach €300.85 in October 2027 and €402.25 in October 2029. The probability is 21% because the payoff is large, but PTC synergies and renewals remain unproven.

How much cash does Schneider Electric really make?
Company free cash flow was €4,635 million in 2025 after net capital expenditure of €1,496 million. The narrower capital-spending line was €1,072 million, but Schneider also includes intangible investment, notably development spending. Looking only at equipment spending would therefore understate reinvestment.
| 2025 | 2024 | 2023 | 2022 | 2021 | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cash from operations | 6,131 | 5,580 | 5,907 | 4,354 | 3,616 |
| − Capital spending | 1,072 | 950 | 914 | 707 | 543 |
| − Interest paid | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| − Stock pay | 202 | 233 | 208 | 184 | 161 |
| Free cash flow — the company's own count | 4,635 | 4,216 | 4,594 | 3,330 | 2,799 |
What this means. The company's own free cash flow does not subtract stock pay because it uses no cash today, but we count it because giving employees shares reduces existing investors' ownership.
