What has STERIS guided for FY2027?
STERIS helps hospitals and manufacturers prevent infection with equipment, chemicals and sterilization services. For FY2027, management guides to reported revenue growth of 7.0%–8.0%. It guides to constant-currency organic growth of 6.0%–7.0%.
Management expects adjusted EPS of $11.10–$11.30. Reported continuing-operations EPS is guided to $8.92–$9.12 because adjusted EPS excludes selected accounting costs, including $2.08 a share of acquired-intangible amortization. That charge is usually non-cash today, but the acquisition that created the asset required real cash.
The cash promise is $1,250.0 million from operations and $800.0 million of free cash flow after $450.0 million of capital spending. The capital-spending figure already includes approximately $75 million for North Carolina, so that construction cost must not be deducted twice.

What this means. These are the company's forecasts, not results already achieved, and they exclude the pending Xodus acquisition.
Did STERIS keep its past promises?
The record is mixed. Adjusted EPS met or exceeded initial guidance four times out of five, while revenue and cash each did so three times. That makes the earnings promise reasonably credible, but it does not make cash conversion equally dependable.

What this means. Each column covers one quarter, so the descriptions that say “year” are misleading.
What should STERIS watch on November 4, 2026?
STERIS plans to report its September-quarter results on November 4, 2026, followed by its call on November 5. Investors should examine customer collections, inventory, capital spending and buybacks together. Higher earnings accompanied by unpaid invoices or unsold stock would leave less cash for construction.
