Does Revvity's cash cover its dividend?

By 2025, the priority had changed. Revvity returned $849.415 million to shareholders, exceeding free cash flow by $333.981 million. It could cover that gap with existing cash or borrowing, and net debt rose to $2.300 billion. A new $1 billion repurchase authorization added capacity, but authorization is not an obligation. Buybacks create value only when the shares are attractively priced and the cash has no better use.

What could change Revvity's dividend?

During 2027–2029, weak utilization, recurring restructuring costs and slower free cash flow would reduce buybacks and reinforce the bear path. By October 2028, the China divestiture will matter more clearly: lost revenue without replacement growth would drive further valuation pressure through October 2029.

What is Revvity's dividend yield against its price?

At $158.77 a share on October 24, 2026, shareholders value Revvity’s equity, while enterprise value also includes lenders’ claims and subtracts cash. A buyer taking over the operating business would have to satisfy both groups, so the positive gap between the two values signals a financing burden rather than a net-cash cushion.

EV/EBITDA offers another view because it compares the whole business with profit before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization. But EBITDA is not cash: it leaves out equipment spending, working capital and taxes. The modest cash yield and small dividend yield mean the investment depends more on future growth than on distributions received today.
