How much does Marvell pay per share?

The base and bull cases use $0.24 annual dividends in every window. The bear keeps $0.24 through October 2027, then cuts it to $0.12. The latest declared quarterly dividend is $0.06, and the five-year record stayed at $0.24 annually. The forecast therefore treats a freeze as most likely, with a cut only if cash generation deteriorates.

Does Marvell's cash cover its dividend?

Free cash flow was $1,391.9 million, almost unchanged from $1,389.6 million. Its margin fell to 17.0% from 24.1% because sales grew faster than cash conversion. Marvell also expected about $1 billion of capacity prepayments in FY2027. These payments support future production but consume cash before chips are sold.

Buybacks became the largest shareholder return. In 2026, dividends and repurchases totalled $2,245.2 million, or 161.3% of free cash flow. Asset sales supplied $2,506.0 million, so part of the payout came from converting businesses into cash rather than from that year’s operations. Buybacks can increase each remaining owner’s share of future cash, but employee compensation and acquisitions can issue shares again.

What could change Marvell's dividend?

The view moves toward the bear case in FY2027–FY2028 if custom design wins fail to become high-volume shipments, customer concentration worsens or supplier prepayments rise without matching receipts. Gross-margin pressure and weaker cash conversion through FY2029 would reinforce that shift.
