What has Interactive Brokers Group guided for rates?

Using balances at September 30, 2026, management estimated that a 25-basis-point move in the US Federal Reserve’s benchmark rate would change annual NII by $83 million. A basis point is one hundredth of a percentage point, so 25 basis points equals 0.25%. This is an annual sensitivity, not a forecast of the next quarter’s profit.

The international effect matters too. Management estimated a separate $35 million annual NII effect from an equivalent move in relevant non-US rates. As customers, balances and currencies change, the old sensitivity becomes less reliable. That makes the rate guide useful, but only as a starting point for the earnings outlook.

Did Interactive Brokers Group keep its growth promise?

Management reported more than one million new accounts during 2025 and a record annual pretax margin of 77%. Those results support its broad promise to pursue growth while controlling technology costs, but they do not show that executives met undisclosed bonus thresholds.

What do Interactive Brokers Group’s last eight quarters show?

Revenue reached $1,914 million, up 15.6% from a year earlier. Pretax income rose to $1,496 million, an increase of 14.0%. Common-shareholder income rose from $263 million to $314 million, while diluted earnings per share rose from $0.59 to $0.69.

What this means. The September 2026 cash-flow figures are blank because the company had not yet filed its cash-flow statement, not because it generated no cash.

What should Interactive Brokers Group watchers look for next?

A further product milestone came on the October 15 call. CEO Milan Galik said IBKR aimed to offer Cboe’s single-stock event contracts, with a possible exchange launch near the end of October but unsettled timing. The important evidence will be actual IBKR availability and repeated customer trading.

Its business becomes clear when you follow a dollar through that account—first as a customer’s money, then as a fee, interest payment or financing balance, and finally as revenue left after costs.
