Dominion earnings date, guidance and results
Dominion's next results are expected on October 30, 2026. Watch whether CVOW's remaining work stays on track without unrecoverable costs widening.
What has Dominion guided for the year?
The weighted forecast points to modest returns, hinging on earnings growth, project recovery, financing and merger outcomes. Management guides to 2026 operating EPS of $3.45–$3.69 per share and 5%–7% annual operating EPS growth through 2030. It calls for $65 billion of capital investment from 2026–2030 and a 15.0% FFO-to-debt ratio in 2026. CVOW guidance sets an $11.65 billion budget and completion by December 2027.

What is Dominion's recent revenue and profit trend?
Revenue rose from the year-earlier quarter, but operating income, net income, and diluted EPS fell. Dominion’s operating EPS moved higher instead. The difference came from the renewable-gas impairment, unrecouped CVOW costs, and volatile investment marks. GAAP captured those effects; the adjusted measure tried to isolate recurring performance.

What this means. Free cash flow is negative because the company spent more cash on equipment and buildings than its daily business brought in.
What should Dominion watch in its next results?
CVOW’s final-turbine installation remains targeted for year-end 2027. Before then, Dominion must complete the remaining work without allowing unrecoverable costs to widen. The project will continue consuming cash until it is operating and earning its full return.
The proposed merger with NextEra Energy is a separate uncertainty. The companies filed for regulatory approvals in July and expect closing in the second half of 2027 if approval arrives. Those milestones determine how much of the standalone funding plan Dominion must carry forward.
