What has to go right or wrong for Corpay?

The bear case gives earnings of $1,254 million, $1,260 million and $1,292 million as revenue grows to $5,700 million, $6,000 million and $6,300 million but margins decline from 22.0% to 20.5%. The bull case reaches $1,556 million, $1,829 million and $2,106 million on revenue of $6,100 million, $6,900 million and $7,800 million, with margins rising to 27.0%. Corporate Payments grew from $598.242 million of revenue in 2021 to $1,635.065 million in 2025, and management reported 10% organic growth guidance, supporting the base and bull paths. But lower Corporate Payments yield and higher credit provisions justify the bear case.

How much cash does Corpay really make?

Conventional free cash flow starts with operating cash and deducts capital spending. Stock compensation can then be deducted as an economic cost because it dilutes shareholders or may require later repurchases. Corpay does not disclose enough to identify a precise maintenance level for software development, so treating all development spending as optional would overstate distributable cash.

What this means. Corpay's own free cash flow is not the same measure as ours because it uses adjusted net income and leaves out or adds back different items, so the numbers cannot be compared directly.

What does an investor pay for Corpay today?

The 6.8-times EV-to-revenue ratio reflects the value placed on Corpay’s ability to turn revenue into profit. Its 4.8% free-cash-flow yield and 4.5% real free-cash-flow yield give a more cash-oriented view, but the dividend yield is 0.0%. Corpay uses “free cash flow” as another name for adjusted net income, so investors must still check operating cash flow, capital spending, working capital, debt service, and buybacks.

What this means. The enterprise value includes financing and customer money from the charge-card business, so it may not represent only the company's ordinary business.
