What has Cencora guided for fiscal 2026?
For the year to September 2026, management guides to revenue growth of 4–6% and adjusted operating-income growth of 13–14%. It guides to adjusted diluted EPS of $17.75–$17.95 and adjusted free cash flow of $3.0 billion. Capital expenditures are guided to $900 million.
| Period guided | Low | High | Date given | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Revenue | Year to Sep 2026 | 4.0% | 6.0% | Aug 5, 2026 |
| Adjusted operating income | Year to Sep 2026 | 13.0% | 14.0% | Aug 5, 2026 |
| Adjusted diluted earnings per share (US$) | Year to Sep 2026 | 17.75 | 17.95 | Aug 5, 2026 |

| Capital expenditures | Year to Sep 2026 | 900,000 | 900,000 | Aug 5, 2026 |
What this means. Some rows show the same low and high number because the company gave one approximate target, not a guaranteed exact result.
Did Cencora keep its past promises?
The fiscal 2025 target deserves scrutiny. Cencora set adjusted free cash flow at $2.0 billion, compared with $3.1 billion in fiscal 2024, citing lost business and investment in distribution centers. Free cash flow then reached the plan’s maximum payout level. The compensation committee reduced the calculated payout from 185.3% to 181.3% after citing underperformance in part of International Healthcare Solutions. It applied discretion, but the lower hurdle still matters.
What has Cencora's revenue and profit trend been?
The June 2026 quarter was operationally strong, but accounting events make the improvement less clean than the headline suggests.
U.S. growth came from unit volume, specialty products and GLP-1 demand. Manufacturer price declines, the loss of an oncology customer and lower sales to a large mail-order customer offset part of that strength. International performance improved, led by European distribution and global specialty logistics. One quarter, however, cannot establish a permanent change in trend.

What this means. The March 2026 profit looks unusually high because it includes a gain that increased reported profit but did not bring in cash.
What should you watch in Cencora's next results?
First, watch the November earnings call. Management said it was still planning fiscal 2027 and would provide full-year guidance then. That outlook should show how operating performance, acquisition interest costs and the expected share count combine in EPS.
