Chow Tai Fook earnings date
MyStockButler's October 2026 analysis: Chow Tai Fook’s next results are expected on December 1, 2026. For Chow Tai Fook, watch whether stronger reported profit becomes cash.
What has Chow Tai Fook guided for the year?
The clearer product commitment is HK$2,000 million of DAWN Collection sales for the year ending March 2027. Management presents DAWN as jewellery for younger customers seeking self-expression, and says more than one-fifth of its early customers were new to the brand. That gives the collection a broader role: it may bring new shoppers into Chow Tai Fook rather than merely shift existing customers between products.
Management has also retained mid-to-high single-digit revenue growth and an operating-profit margin above 14% for FY2027. The margin measures operating profit from each dollar of sales, while net profit also includes financing, tax and valuation effects. That distinction is why the interim net-profit target should not be mistaken for 90.0%–100.0% growth in the underlying shops.
| Period | Low | High | Given on | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Net profit increase | 6 months to Sep 2026 | 90.0% | 100.0% | Oct 22, 2026 |
| Full-year sales from the DAWN Collection | Year to Mar 2027 | 2,000 | Jun 11, 2026 |
What this means. The 90 to 100 percent net profit increase is only for the six months ending September 2026 and does not predict the full year.
Did Chow Tai Fook keep its past promises?
Management also beat a stated cost target. Karen Yih had targeted FY2026 selling, general and administrative expenses at 13.6–13.7% of revenue; the result was 13.1%. But gold prices rose 47.9% during FY2026, so higher revenue and margins were not solely management’s achievement.
What is Chow Tai Fook’s revenue and profit trend?
The FY2026 second half delivered much stronger shareholder profit, but its free cash flow remained below the comparable period. Profit therefore improved faster than cash, repeating the central warning from the full-year accounts.
| 6 months to Mar 2026 | 6 months to Sep 2025 | 6 months to Mar 2025 | 6 months to Sep 2024 | 6 months to Mar 2024 | 6 months to Sep 2023 | 6 months to Mar 2023 | 6 months to Sep 2022 | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Revenue | 55,412.3 | 38,986.1 | 50,248.3 | 39,407.7 | 59,186.7 | 49,526.3 | 48,149 | 46,535.4 |
| Gross margin | 33.6% | 30.5% | 28.0% | 31.4% | 23.2% | 24.9% | 25.5% | 22.5% |
| Net income | 6,470.7 | 2,533.6 | 3,385.1 | 2,530.4 | 1,948.2 | 4,551.1 | 2,048.9 | 3,335.5 |
| EPS, diluted | 0.65 | 0.26 | 0.34 | 0.25 | 0.20 | 0.46 | 0.20 | 0.33 |
What this means. Free cash flow here is lower than cash from operations because it also subtracts spending on equipment, lease payments, and interest paid.
What should I watch in Chow Tai Fook’s next results?
The decisive evidence will show whether stronger reported profit becomes cash while the investment programme advances. Chow Tai Fook expects to publish interim results by the end of November 2026. Those results should separate the gold-loan valuation gain from trading improvement and show the cash consequences.
