What has RBI guided for 2026?

Management targets 8.0% organic Adjusted Operating Income growth and 4.0x net leverage in 2026, alongside US$1,600 million of total shareholder returns.

RBI guides to US$400 million of capex and cash inducements. The commitment covers 2026 and 2027. It expects annual investment of about US$300 million from 2028. The Q3 call, preliminarily scheduled for October 29, 2026, will test profit growth, franchisee economics and cash generation. RBI expects 300–500 U.S. company-operated Burger King restaurants by the end of 2027. Multibillion-dollar debt maturities begin in 2028.

Has RBI kept its past promises?

RBI reaffirmed a target of at least 8% organic adjusted operating-income growth across the 2024–2028 outlook period and reported growth above 8% in each of the first two years. That is progress, not a finished promise. RBI also changed the starting date used in special awards for Kobza and Siddiqui, so shareholders should inspect award terms because they shape the difficulty of the target.

What do RBI's last eight quarters show?

Underlying profit grew more slowly. Organic AOI increased 6.7%, and adjusted EPS rose 12.9%. The reported tax rate was negative 12.3% because of reorganization-related deferred-tax benefits. The comparison therefore contains both better trading and easier accounting conditions.

What should I watch in RBI's next results?

The Q3 call, preliminarily scheduled for October 29, 2026, should show whether operating-profit growth improves and whether cash covers investment and distributions. The useful evidence will be franchisee profitability, completed remodels and successful transfers to operators able to maintain the restaurants.
