Kenvue earnings: what to know
Kenvue’s next results are expected on November 2, 2026. Kenvue’s key watch is whether the acquisition closes on schedule.
What has Kenvue guided for the year?
The expected reward is described as annualized pre-tax gross savings. “Annualized” means the saving is measured as if the completed changes operated for a full year. “Gross” means before Kenvue reinvests part of it in advertising, product support or higher manufacturing costs. The saving is therefore a possible future reduction in costs, not an automatic addition to 2026 profit.
| Period guided | Low | High | Date given | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pre-tax restructuring expenses and other charges (approximately) | Fiscal 2026 | 250 | 250 | Aug 6, 2026 |
| Information technology and project-related costs (% of initiative; approximately) | Fiscal 2026 | 59.0% | 59.0% | Aug 6, 2026 |
| Employee-related costs (% of initiative; approximately) | Fiscal 2026 | 35.0% | 35.0% | Aug 6, 2026 |
| Other implementation costs (% of initiative; approximately) | Fiscal 2026 | 6.0% | 6.0% | Aug 6, 2026 |
| Annualized pre-tax gross cost savings (approximately) | Fiscal 2026 initiative, upon completion | 200 | 200 | Aug 6, 2026 |
| Net global workforce reduction (approximately) | Fiscal 2026 initiative | 3.5% | 3.5% | Feb 17, 2026 |
What this means. The table still lists earlier guidance even though the company stopped giving future estimates on August 6, 2026, because of its pending transaction with Kimberly-Clark.
Did Kenvue keep its past promises?
In 2025, organic sales fell 2.2%, while free cash flow rose to US$1.7 billion. Sales and adjusted net income missed their incentive thresholds, but free cash flow exceeded its target and helped support the overall award. In February 2025, Kenvue had forecast organic sales growth of 2%–4%; the eventual decline therefore spans two leadership periods. Shareholders can hold the company accountable while recognizing what Perry inherited.
What do Kenvue’s last eight quarters show?
Second-quarter 2026 showed better demand and cash generation, but weaker margins limited the operating-profit recovery.
Gross margin fell from 58.9% to 58.2% as inflation, tariffs and transaction-related currency costs offset productivity gains. Operating income rose from $692 million to $699 million. Net income rose from $420 million to $456 million partly because a valuation allowance was released. That allowance had reserved against tax benefits Kenvue once thought it might not use; releasing it lowered tax expense without making the brands more profitable.

What should Kenvue watchers look for next?
The acquisition timetable, debt exchange and product litigation will determine which risks become easier to manage.
