Bunge dividend
MyStockButler's October 2026 analysis: Bunge's approved dividend is $2.88 per share, with a base forecast of $2.92 in 2027 rising to $3.08 in 2029. Coverage is strained: shareholder payments exceeded free cash flow in both 2024 and 2025, and conventional free cash flow was negative $879 million in 2025.
How much does Bunge pay in dividends?
The base dividend rises from $2.92 per share in 2027 to $3.08 in 2029. That assumes two quarterly payments at $0.72 and two at $0.74 in the first window, followed by small annual increases. The bear case holds the approved $2.88 rate flat because operations used $2.302 billion of cash in the first nine months of 2026. The bull case reaches $3.40 if savings and project ramps improve cash conversion.

| Dividend per share | 2.80 | 2.72 | 2.61 | 2.40 | 2.08 |
What this means. The 2025 sales growth looks high because it includes Viterra after Bunge bought it, while growth for the combined companies was actually a decline of 4.7 percent.
How much would Bunge's dividend pay you?
$10,000 invested in Bunge at its 3.0% dividend yield (our report of October 30, 2026) pays $300.00 in the first year, before tax. If its dividend per share keeps changing 9.8% a year, as it did from 2021 to 2025, and the dividends are reinvested, year 10 pays $1,031.03, with $5,866.45 received in all.
Before tax. Past dividend growth is not a promise. Information only, not investment advice.
Is Bunge's dividend covered by its cash?
Bunge continued to pay dividends and buy back shares even when free cash flow was weak. Shareholder payments exceeded free cash flow in both 2024 and 2025, which means the company needed funding beyond that year’s internally generated cash. That money could otherwise have reduced debt or funded new capacity.
Capital spending then changed the picture. After $1.723 billion of capital spending, conventional free cash flow was negative $879 million. Subtracting $73 million of stock pay gives negative $952 million under the table’s stricter convention. Stock pay is not a second cash payment that year; subtracting it recognises that the compensation still costs shareholders.

What this means. The company's own net debt is higher because it subtracts less of its short-term investments than our calculation does.
What could change Bunge's dividend?
The view moves toward the bear case if local crush margins, grain, tropical-oil or milling results weaken from late 2026 through 2028. Persistent working-capital absorption and capital spending would raise borrowing and constrain buybacks into 2027.
