What has to go right or wrong for SBA?

The bear case requires carrier churn to exceed new leasing, Brazil's Oi losses to persist and refinancing to raise interest costs. Slower Millicom lease-up then leaves AFFO per share falling. The shares reach $153.36 in October 2027 and $140.28 in October 2029. The 30% probability reflects weak organic growth, 90.8% domestic revenue concentration among three carriers and 6.4x leverage.

The bull case requires churn to resolve faster, Brazil to stabilize, Millicom sites to attract colocations and refinancing to remain manageable. Buybacks and a higher multiple amplify the earnings recovery. The shares reach $204.86 in October 2027 and $260.52 in October 2029. The probability is 20% because several execution outcomes must align, and Millicom project returns remain unpublished.

How much cash does SBA really make?

AFFO per share rose from $10.74 in 2021 to $13.37 in 2024, then fell to $12.85 in 2025. Dividends paid increased to $479.0 million, lifting the payout ratio to 34.6%. The remaining AFFO still competes with acquisitions, construction, land purchases, debt repayment and buybacks.
