What has ELC guided for fiscal 2027?

For fiscal 2027, management guides to 3%–5% organic sales growth. Adjusted EPS is guided to $3.10–$3.35. Adjusted operating margin is guided to 12.7%–13.5%. The plan targets $1.2 billion of annual gross benefits and a net reduction of 10,000 positions. It also carries more than $1.7 billion of cumulative restructuring and other charges.

The Profit Recovery and Growth Plan aims to deliver $1,200 million of annual gross benefits during fiscal 2027, alongside $1,700 million of cumulative restructuring and other charges and a net reduction of 10,000 positions. Gross benefits are savings before reinvestment and other pressures. ELC had accrued $632 million of restructuring costs at June 30, 2026, with expected cash payments of $530 million in fiscal 2027.

What this means. The adjusted earnings per share forecast is higher than the reported earnings per share forecast because it leaves out restructuring costs.

What do ELC’s last eight quarters show?

The June 2026 quarter confirmed stronger sales, but still produced a reported loss.

The reported operating loss narrowed to $39 million from $390 million. Net loss narrowed to $116 million, while diluted EPS remained negative at $0.32. Restructuring and associated effects cost $306 million pretax, so the loss still reflected a large transformation bill.
