WuXi earnings date and guidance
WuXi's next results are expected on October 26, 2026. For WuXi, the key watch is whether backlog converts into cash as new capacity becomes productive.
What has WuXi guided for 2026?
Management guides 2026 total revenue to RMB58,500–60,500 million and continuing-operations growth to 35.0%–39.0%. It expects capital spending of RMB7,500–8,500 million and adjusted free cash flow of RMB13,500–14,500 million. TIDES revenue is expected to grow 45.0%; TIDES develops and makes peptide and oligonucleotide medicines.
| Period | Low | High | Given on | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Total revenue | Year to Dec 2026 | 58,500 | 60,500 | Aug 3, 2026 |
| Continuing operations revenue growth | Year to Dec 2026 | 35.0% | 39.0% | Aug 3, 2026 |
| Capex | Year to Dec 2026 | 7,500 | 8,500 | Aug 3, 2026 |
| Adjusted free cash flow | Year to Dec 2026 | 13,500 | 14,500 | Aug 3, 2026 |
| TIDES revenue growth | Year to Dec 2026 | 45.0% | 45.0% | Aug 3, 2026 |
What this means. The final row shows one company estimate of about 45 percent growth, not a low and high range, even though both columns show the same number.
Did WuXi deliver on its past promises?
Management forecast revenue of RMB41.5–43.0 billion in March 2025. Actual revenue was RMB45.46 billion. It also proposed a RMB1.0 billion interim dividend in March 2026, while the eventual distribution reached RMB1.51 billion. Those are credible delivery signals, but the final test is whether growth leaves more cash and earning power behind each share after compensation, financing and insider selling.
What do WuXi's last eight reported periods show?
Revenue grew 55.2% from the year-earlier June quarter. Gross margin rose from 46.6% to 55.8%. Chemistry remained the main engine, but first-half small-molecule development and manufacturing grew faster than TIDES, so the acceleration broadened beyond the previous year’s peptide and oligonucleotide surge.
| Jun 2026 | Mar 2026 | Dec 2025 | Sep 2025 | Jun 2025 | Mar 2025 | Dec 2024 | Sep 2024 | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Revenue | 16,461.702 | 12,435.777 | 10,606.912 | 8,918.594 | ||||
| Gross margin | 55.8% | 49.8% | 46.6% | 44.1% | ||||
| Operating income | 7,951.666 | 5,482.013 | 5,445.866 | 4,104.381 | ||||
| Net income | 6,404.105 | 4,633.601 | 4,810.18 | 3,537.995 | ||||
| EPS, diluted | 2.17 | 1.58 | 1.67 | 1.24 | ||||
| = Free cash flow | 4,065.02 | 2,162.102 | 3,527.365 | 2,274.495 | 2,610.495 | 2,187.717 | 2,342.922 | 2,209.681 |
What this means. Revenue covers ongoing businesses, but free cash flow also includes businesses the company has sold, so the figures do not match perfectly.
What should WuXi watchers look for next?
The October 26, 2026 nine-month results will test guidance, customer payments and backlog conversion. Middletown and Couvet, followed by Singapore and Taixing, will test whether commissioning and customer qualification turn expansion into productive capacity. Couvet’s spray-drying facility is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026 and Singapore production in 2027. Programme progression, site utilization, cash generation and customer decisions during 2027–2028 will decide whether margins and valuation hold.
